B.C.’s Cameron Whitcomb Wins Twice at CCMA Awards
Nanaimo’s Cameron Whitcomb triumphed at the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards in Kelowna on Sept. 13, winning Fans’ Choice and Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year. The event, hosted for the first time in Kelowna at Prospera Place, also recognized top Canadian country artists including Josh Ross, Owen Riegling, Mackenzie Porter, Jade Eagleson, and James Barker Band. The awards celebrated a wide range of achievements, from musical collaborations to songwriting, highlighting the strength and diversity of Canada’s country music scene.
