Surrey Library Adds Free Bookable Pods at Guildford Branch

Surrey Libraries has introduced three free bookable pods at its Guildford branch as part of a pilot project. The sound-dampened pods are designed for individual or group use, offering quiet spaces for studying, remote work, video calls, or collaboration. Two pods serve individuals, while one accommodates up to four people. Users can reserve a pod for up to two hours daily at the service desk or by phone. Funded through community donations, the initiative may expand to other Surrey Libraries branches if the pilot proves successful.
