Delta Pride Picnic Fills Ladner Park with Colour, Joy

The Delta Pride Society hosted its annual Pride Picnic on August 17 in Ladner’s Memorial Park, drawing families, allies, and LGBTQ2S+ community members for a day of music, food, and activities. The event, launched in 2018, has grown into a major celebration of diversity, with highlights including live entertainment, kids’ games, vendor booths, and a massive Pride flag displayed by Delta Fire & Emergency Services. President Christa Horita Kadach said the picnic provides a vital space for people of all ages to feel welcome and celebrated.
