Surrey Plans $30M Fleetwood Fire hall Move for 2028 Completion

Surrey City Council has unveiled a $30-million plan to relocate and rebuild Fire Hall #6 in Fleetwood, with completion set for 2028. The existing facility on 152 Street will be demolished due to the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain expansion. A new, larger firehall will be constructed at 9261 152 Street, with planning and design already underway by Chernoff Thompson Architects. The move addresses long-standing space and operational issues, ensuring the firehall meets future growth and public safety needs in the rapidly developing Fleetwood area.
