White Rock Petition Urges Amalgamation with Surrey City

An online petition is calling for White Rock to amalgamate with Surrey, citing concerns over transparency, rising property costs, and slow permitting in the seaside city. Launched by local business leaders and residents under the name Concerned Residents and Business Leaders of White Rock, the petition argues Surrey’s larger systems would deliver better governance, improved public services, and more efficient use of tax dollars.
