South Surrey Cafés Expand Mental Wellness Program

The Together South Surrey White Rock Society is expanding its free Community Café program to include a fourth location at the Roadhouse Grille atrium, beginning September 3. The volunteer-led cafés, facilitated by mental health professionals, provide safe, welcoming spaces for residents to discuss wellness topics, reduce isolation, and build community connections. Founded in 2020, the society now hosts weekly sessions across South Surrey and White Rock, supported by local partners and the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. Upcoming café themes include self-compassion, deep listening, and navigating life transitions.
