Surrey-Langley SkyTrain Extension Moves Forward

Construction is underway on the 16 km Surrey-Langley SkyTrain extension of the Expo Line, connecting King George Station in Surrey to Langley City Centre. The $4.01 billion project includes eight new stations, with Green Timbers station slated to open in 2029. Once complete, the line will cut travel time from Langley to Surrey to just over 20 minutes, improving connectivity, easing congestion, and supporting rapid population growth in the Fraser Valley.
