B.C. Seeks to Seize Surrey Homes Linked to Drug Trafficking
The B.C. government has filed a civil claim to seize two Surrey homes allegedly linked to a major drug trafficking operation. Court documents name Aneeza Rehnaaz Ali and Mohammed Saaiyad Ali as owners of the properties, which police say were used to produce and launder proceeds from drug sales. RCMP officers seized large quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine during a September 2025 raid. The Director of Civil Forfeiture alleges the homes were purchased with illicit funds, while police continue to prepare a report for federal prosecutors.
