Surrey actors shine in Langley’s ’50s comedy premiere
Two Surrey actors, Hana Shiels and Kelly Thompson, star in the B.C. debut of the Olivier Award-winning comedy Home, I’m Darling, running September 11–27 at Langley’s Theatre in the Country. The 1950s-set play follows Judy, a woman striving for the perfect home life, only to discover the pressures of perfection bring comic consequences. This is the first staging of the production in Western Canada, with costumes and direction highlighting its vintage charm. Tickets are available at theatreinthecountry.com.
