The Surrey Christmas Bureau has opened registration for families seeking holiday help as living costs soar. With demand expected to surge, donations of toys, food, and funds are urgently needed.
The Surrey Christmas Bureau (SCB) has opened registration for its annual Toy Depot and holiday assistance programs, expecting high demand as costs rise. Families can apply online at christmasbureau.com until December 1. The Toy Depot returns to 13665 102 Avenue, Whalley, starting November 12, Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Donations of toys, food, and cash support both the depot and the Adopt-A-Family program. In 2024, SCB helped 1,913 families and 4,943 children, and demand is expected to grow this year.
