White Rock Launches Scenic Walkway Challenge With New Signs
The City of White Rock is launching a community walking challenge on Thursday, July 31, at 10 a.m. to celebrate the installation of new wayfinding signage on its hillside walkways. The signs, placed at key access points across four walkways, aim to improve navigation and promote active living. Stretching 1.5 km and featuring 777 steps, the walkways offer scenic views of the coastline. The initiative, led by the Public Art and Culture Advisory Committee, supports city council’s goal of enhancing public spaces and community wellness.
