BC Muslim Association to Host Anti-Gang Forum in Surrey

The BC Muslim Association will host a public safety forum in Surrey on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Surrey Jamea Masjid to address youth gang violence. The event, titled “Guns, Drugs and Gangs”, runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and features keynote speaker Yusef-Andre Wiley, a former Los Angeles gang member. Supported by local organizations including KidsPlay Foundation and SACH BC, the forum aims to unite faith communities, parents, and youth in building safer neighbourhoods. Admission is free, with advance registration requested.
