Another Surrey Business Targeted in Shooting on 125th Street

Police are investigating after a Surrey business was hit with gunfire Friday morning on 125th Street. No injuries were reported.

Another Surrey Shooting Under Investigation

Police are investigating a shooting that targeted a business in Surrey’s 10800-block of 125th Street on Friday morning.

Incident Details

Officers with the Surrey Police Service responded shortly after 8:30 a.m. and found multiple bullet holes at the rear of the business. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Investigators have not confirmed if the shooting is connected to the recent extortion threats against South Asian business owners in Surrey. Police have said the motive remains under investigation.

Ongoing Concerns

Local business owners reported living in fear after a rise in shootings linked to extortion attempts. As of last month, Surrey police had received 39 reports of extortion in 2025, with 27 involving gunfire. Two suspects were previously arrested this summer in connection with earlier extortion cases and now face arson and firearm charges.

Call for Information

Police are asking anyone with information, dashcam, or CCTV footage to contact the Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at solvecrime.ca.
