As the Christmas season approaches, Surrey’s two major arts venues are rolling out an array of concerts and theatre productions throughout November and December, promising festive entertainment for families and arts lovers alike.
First Act: Celtic Tenors Kick Off Holiday Tour
On November 27, the Celtic Tenors — Matthew “Gilly” Gilsenan, Daryl Simpson, and George Hutton — will begin a cross-Canada holiday tour at the Bell Performing Arts Centre. Their show is set to offer a combination of Celtic tradition, powerful a cappella harmony, and beloved contemporary songs. The tour announcement was made public on September 15. - December 5: An ABBA Christmas by ABRA Cadabra, described as a family-friendly night of Swedish pop hits.

- December 13: The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra returns with its annual Traditional Christmas concert, staged twice at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

- Beginning November 19, Fraser Valley Musical Theatre presents Hansel & Gretel at Surrey Arts Centre’s Main Stage.
