Langley Toddler Captures Hearts in Global Contest

Three-year-old Everett Morse from Langley has advanced to the quarterfinals of Hasbro’s Toddler of the Year competition. The international contest offers a once-in-a-lifetime prize package worth more than $57,000 USD—including becoming the face of Hasbro’s ad campaigns, a $25,000 cash prize, a trip to Texas’ Peppa Pig Land, and even a spot in the Hollywood Christmas Parade.

His proud mom, Sandra, a local RCMP officer, entered him into the contest after spotting it on Instagram. She admits she was skeptical at first, but after looking into it, she decided to give it a try.

“This is an incredible opportunity for him,” Sandra shared. “It’s not only about the fun experiences but also about giving him a strong start for the future.”

A Miracle Boy with a Big Personality

Sandra calls Everett her “little miracle.” He was her final embryo, and the pregnancy was anything but easy. Doctors initially told her she was miscarrying, and the months that followed included bedrest and a high-risk delivery. Yet Everett arrived healthy, happy, and full of energy.

Now, at three and a half, he’s thriving in Willoughby. He loves riding his bike, going camping, and is excited to try skating and hockey this winter. At home, he spends his days playing “The Floor is Lava,” building blanket forts, dressing up as superheroes, and even attending “baby raves.”

“He’s got the happiest personality,” Sandra said. “He truly is the life of the party.”

Contest Details and Voting Timeline

The Toddler of the Year competition is structured in several rounds:

  • Quarterfinals: Sept. 1–11
  • Semifinals: Sept. 12–18
  • Finals: Sept. 19–25
  • Winner Announcement: On or before Oct. 10

In each round, votes reset and the public decides who advances.

Supporters can vote for Everett for free at toddleroftheyear.org/2025/everett-df44. Extra votes are available through donations, with all proceeds supporting Toys for Tots.

Prize Money With a Purpose

If Everett wins, Sandra already knows how she’ll use the $25,000 cash prize.

“As a single mom by choice, I want to make sure Everett’s future is secure,” she explained. “This money would go directly toward his education and his future needs as an adult.”
