Surrey Schools ONE Expands Learning Access

Surrey Schools ONE offers students, parents, and educators fresh digital resources, from AI learning to online safety and wellness tools.

Surrey Schools ONE Expands Learning Access

A Growing Hub for Digital Learning

With back-to-school season just weeks away, Surrey Schools is reminding families about the wealth of digital resources available through Surrey Schools ONE. Launched in 2020, this online hub continues to expand, offering tools to support students, parents, and educators year-round. From AI-focused lessons to online safety games, the platform is shaping how the district approaches modern education.

Students Gain New Tools for the Year Ahead

Students can browse materials by grade or subject, including math, science, languages, arts, and physical education. This year introduces a dedicated page on artificial intelligence in education.

The “Navigating an AI Future” series includes expert-led talks exploring technology’s impact on safety, innovation, and tomorrow’s workforce. It also highlights what today’s learners must know to thrive in an AI-driven world.

Digital Connections, designed for Grades 6–8, addresses online relationships, misinformation, and digital footprints. Interactive activities like Minecraft Education, Interland, and Ninja Breakout make learning digital citizenship fun while building awareness around safety, privacy, and respect online.

Parents Get Resources for Digital Wellness

Parents aren’t left out—Surrey Schools ONE offers resources that help families navigate technology together. From advice on cyberbullying to balancing screen time, parents can access tools to promote safe and mindful online habits.

The site also breaks resources into literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional categories. Literacy activities nurture language development, numeracy covers everything from fractions to geometry, and social-emotional supports offer mindfulness, breathing exercises, and self-awareness practices.

Educators Find Professional Support

For educators, Surrey Schools ONE delivers lesson plans, digital libraries, and curriculum resources tailored for every grade level. Teachers can explore professional development opportunities, inclusive education tools, Indigenous learning resources, and subject-specific support.

Collections for initiatives such as Every Child Matters and SOGI education also ensure teachers are equipped to address diverse learning needs.

A Platform That Keeps Growing

The Surrey Schools ONE site evolves constantly, reflecting changing learning demands throughout the year. With its wide selection of digital resources, it empowers students, supports families, and strengthens classrooms.
