Delta’s Best in Business Set for the Spotlight
The Delta Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the finalists for its prestigious Business Excellence Awards, celebrating exceptional companies and organizations across the community. Since 1951, this annual gala has honoured Delta and Tsawwassen First Nation’s top achievers, recognizing their leadership, innovation, and dedication to community growth. This year’s winners will be crowned during the 74th annual celebration on Oct. 24 at Tsawwassen Springs.
Eight Prestigious Award Categories
Honours will be given in eight categories: Rising Star Business, Small Business of the Year, Medium Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Environmental Sustainability, Charitable/Non-Profit Organization of the Year, Business of the Year, and Business Leadership Award. Each category highlights excellence, growth, innovation, and strong community commitment.
Finalists Who Made the Cut
For Rising Star Business, contenders include Clay Oven Indian Restaurant, Popoff Soda, and Sachkhand Travels Ltd. Small Business of the Year finalists are Absolute Plumbing Solutions, Seaside Maintenance Inc., and Trish Arato Inc. Medium Business of the Year will see Custom Cubes, Dairy Queen – Ladner, and Insignia College compete, while Large Business of the Year features L’aromas, Masteel America Corp., and TAK Logistics.
Business of the Year finalists are 37 Boxing Club, Four Winds Brewing, and Men in Kilts. Environmental Sustainability Award contenders include Oceano Cleaning Services, Say When Beverages Inc., and West Coast Windows. Charitable/Non-Profit Organization of the Year finalists are Deltassist Family and Community Services Society, KinVillage Association, and Step Forward Health Society. The recipient of the Business Leadership Award will be revealed on gala night.
An Evening of Celebration and Networking
The gala runs from 5 to 10 p.m., with a champagne reception, elegant dinner, silent and live auctions, prizes, and live music. Returning as emcee is community leader and singer Warren Dean Flandez, while Delta South MLA Ian Paton will lead the live auction. Early bird tickets are available until Sept. 15 through the chamber office.
