Sunshine, Motorcycles, and a Star Lead the Way

Kelowna Harley-Davidson couldn’t have asked for better weather on Saturday, Aug. 9. The third annual Celebrity Charity Ride rolled in under clear blue skies and a warm summer breeze, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of community and compassion.

A Parking Lot Packed with Passion

By mid-morning, the dealership’s parking lot was buzzing with energy as more than 200 motorcycles lined up, chrome glinting in the sunlight. The rumble of engines was matched only by the excitement of the riders, all ready to hit the open road for a good cause.

Kim Coates Takes the Lead—Again

At the head of the pack was Canadian actor Kim Coates, best known for his role in Sons of Anarchy. This wasn’t his first time leading the charge—Coates has become a beloved fixture of the event. “Are you kidding me? It’s incredible,” he told Black Press Media, beaming at the sight of so many supporters.

More Than Just a Ride

While the event delivered thrills for motorcycle enthusiasts, it was ultimately about giving back. Each rev of the throttle echoed the community’s shared commitment to making a difference—proving that when passion meets purpose, great things happen.
