Surrey’s Canada Day celebration is one of the largest in Western Canada. From 10 a.m. until nightfall, Cloverdale comes alive with live concerts, amusement rides, Indigenous art exhibits, and a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.
This free, all-ages event also includes a special citizenship ceremony and a “Made in Surrey” market featuring local artisans and vendors.
Sounds of Summer Concert Series – July to August
Running from mid-July to late August, the Sounds of Summer series brings free weekly concerts to local parks across Surrey, including Bear Creek, Crescent Beach, and Hawthorne Park.
Genres range from jazz and classical to folk and indie rock. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy live music under the evening sky.
Surrey Latin Festival – August 10–11, 2025
The Latin Festival returns this August, bringing vibrant Latin American culture to the heart of Surrey. Hosted at Civic Plaza, the event includes salsa and bachata dance performances, traditional food stalls, and live Latin pop, reggaetón, and mariachi music.
