Purdy’s Brings Back “Dear Santa Bar” to Support Children’s Hospitals
Holiday sweetness is back with a cause. Purdy’s Chocolatier has reintroduced its beloved “Dear Santa Bar” for the 7th year, donating $2 from every bar sold to children’s hospital foundations across Canada — including BC Children’s Hospital Foundation in Vancouver.
Spreading Joy and Care During the Holidays
“The holidays can be an especially difficult time for kids in the hospital and their families,” said Melissa Swindells, Director of Corporate Partnerships at BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Thanks to Purdy’s generosity, our teams can create moments of joy, comfort, and world-class care for children spending the season in hospital.”
These contributions help fund critical care, essential support, and specialized treatment, giving more children the chance to recover and return home in time for the holidays.
Sweet Details
The milk chocolate bar with crunchy salted toffee bits is priced at $6 and is available online and in stores. Shoppers can find Purdy’s Chocolatier at Guildford Town Centre, Semiahmoo Shopping Centre, and other locations across the province.
Founded in 1907 by Richard Carmon Purdy in downtown Vancouver, the company continues its legacy of crafting premium chocolates made from sustainable cocoa and high-quality ingredients.
