Annual event celebrates community, small business, and festive spirit
The much-loved Ladies Night Out returns to downtown Cloverdale on Wednesday, November 27, running from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is hosted by the Cloverdale Arts & Entertainment Association (CA&EA) and brings together local shops, artisans, and restaurants for an evening of holiday shopping and community celebration.
CA&EA president Paige Hardy said planning for this year’s event began right after the last Market Days wrapped.
“As an association that supports community, small business, and the arts, this is a natural fit for us,” Hardy said. “All participating businesses open their doors and offer great deals, gifts, and goodies for everyone.”
New shops and pop-ups join the lineup
This year, the event welcomes new participants, including The Storehouse and Elena’s Café, now under new ownership. Elena’s will also host a pop-up vendor, while additional pop-up booths will be set up inside The Henry offices.
Artisans and local vendors will offer handcrafted products, while many brick-and-mortar stores will feature exclusive in-store offers.
Prizes, Mrs. Claus, and festive cheer
Shoppers can collect stamps from participating businesses—identified by balloons at their entrances—for a chance to win the grand prize worth about $1,000 in gift certificates, along with several gift baskets. Eventgoers can also spot Mrs. Claus handing out free goodies throughout the evening.
Hardy encouraged attendees to make dinner plans at participating restaurants before or after shopping:
“It’s so important to shop local and support the small businesses that support your community.”
Supporting local, celebrating together
Ladies Night Out began as an initiative to promote local shopping and has since grown to attract thousands of participants. It remains one of Cloverdale’s signature pre-holiday events.
