Don’t miss Bear Creek Lights 2025 in Surrey! Free tickets open Oct. 21 for this dazzling festival of lights, music, food, and family fun.

Surrey’s Sparkling Secret Returns: Bear Creek Lights 2025

Ready for some sparkle this season? Surrey’s beloved Bear Creek Lights Festival is making its dazzling return — and the best part? Tickets are free! Starting Tuesday, Oct. 21 at noon, you can grab your timed-entry passes at surrey.ca/bearcreeklights or by calling 604-501-5100.

A Magical Walk Through the Park

From Nov. 7 to 21, Bear Creek Park will transform into a glowing wonderland filled with thousands of twinkling lights, cheerful music, and Instagram-worthy photo ops. The festival promises a new one-kilometre illuminated trail, along with guided walks, food trucks, and plenty of spots to soak in the festive vibes.

Rain or shine, this “after-dark nature experience” is designed to lift spirits and light up the shorter days of fall.

Plan Ahead — Tickets Go Fast!

Last year’s event drew nearly 40,000 visitors, so the City of Surrey strongly encourages booking in advance. Timed-entry tickets are released every 30 minutes, with slots from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Keep in mind, the event will be closed on Nov. 11 for Remembrance Day, and drop-in availability is limited, especially on weekends.

Getting There

Visitors are encouraged to park off 88 Avenue and 140 Street for the easiest access to the park. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or a camera in hand, there’s something truly enchanting waiting around every corner.

A Tradition That Brings Joy

Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke describes the festival as “a wonderful way for friends and families to get outdoors and connect with nature as the days get shorter.” She adds, “Seeing Bear Creek Park lit up with thousands of twinkling lights is always magical. I invite everyone to experience this beloved and uplifting community tradition that sparks joy for all ages.”

So, mark your calendars — because starting Oct. 21, Surrey’s most radiant tradition is ready to light up your nights once again. 🌟
