South Surrey Home Among VGH+ Millionaire Lottery Prizes
A South Surrey luxury home is among the grand prize options in this year’s VGH+ Millionaire Lottery, with ticket sales now open across British Columbia.
The annual lottery supports the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, raising funds for life-saving medical equipment, groundbreaking research, and patient care innovations across Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, and affiliated health centres.
This year, there are 10 grand prize packages to choose from — including luxury homes in South Surrey (12686 25 Avenue), Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, Kelowna, Courtenay, Sooke, and Colwood — each valued at over $3.3 million.
The winner may also opt for $3 million in tax-free cash, the largest cash prize ever offered in a B.C. lottery.
“People across British Columbia facing serious illness or injury deserve the very best care,” said Angela Chapman, president and CEO of the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation. “The VGH+ Millionaire Lottery helps make that possible, giving our world-class health care partners the resources they need to save lives and build healthier communities.”
Lottery spokesperson Todd Talbot called this year’s lineup the most valuable in its history.
“The South Surrey Grand Prize home is a showpiece,” he said. “It spans 4,242 sq. ft. with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, prep kitchen, theatre and games room, and outdoor fire pit patio — all fully furnished with $100,000 in luxury interiors.”
Winners can also choose from packages featuring vehicles, vacations, or cash.
Tickets are priced at 2 for $110, 5 for $200, 10 for $350, or 25 for $600, and are available at millionairelottery.com, by phone at 1-888-445-5825, or in person at London Drugs locations.
