The Surrey Urban Farmers Market (SUFM) celebrated the close of its 2025 summer season today with a lively final market at Royal Kwantlen Park in North Surrey, bringing together the community for one last day of local food, crafts, and music.
From fresh produce and honey to handmade crafts, flowers, henna art, and 3D-printed creations, visitors enjoyed a colourful mix of vendors including ES Pizza, Neza Coffee Cart, and local farmers. Families filled the park, enjoying live tunes by Mighty Koan, a dedicated kids’ play area, and the popular Seed Contest and Demo hosted by FarmFolk CityFolk, where guests donated and cleaned seeds to support Surrey’s growing community seed library.
Market organizers expressed heartfelt thanks to the community for a successful season:
“From our volunteers and farmers to the neighbours who showed up rain or shine, your support has kept our market thriving. Today’s event is a celebration of all we’ve grown together.”
Operated by dedicated volunteers, the non-profit Surrey Urban Farmers Market continues to celebrate Surrey’s local farmers, food producers, and artisans — connecting diverse communities through food, creativity, and sustainability.
