One Hospitalized After Surrey Crash
A driver is recovering in hospital after a serious crash in Surrey, B.C., on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of 24 Avenue and 168 Street just after 5 p.m. following reports of a single-vehicle collision, according to a statement from the Surrey Police Service.
Vehicle Struck Tree and Flipped
Police said the car veered off the road, collided with a tree, and flipped onto its roof. The driver was pulled from the wreckage by first responders and transported to hospital in serious condition.
No other individuals were involved or injured in the incident.
Investigation Underway
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. The Surrey Police Service is asking anyone with dashcam footage or information from the area to contact investigators.
