Delta Police are investigating a fatal car fire that occurred late Sunday night on Highway 17 in Delta, B.C. Officers responded around 11:20 p.m. on October 26 to reports of a vehicle fire west of 80th Street. Despite emergency crews’ efforts, the car’s lone female occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the Delta Police Department and the BC Coroners Service.
