Surrey Knights blaze through the PJHL season with local stars, sharp defence, and an unbeatable spirit—10 wins, no losses in regulation.
Surrey’s Finest Are On Fire
The Surrey Knights are tearing through the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) with the kind of momentum every team dreams of. Ten wins in eleven games—and not a single loss in regulation—have fans buzzing across the city.
Guided by head coach Andy Liboiron, this young squad is showing that teamwork and homegrown pride can turn a good start into something special.
Homegrown Talent Takes Center Ice
What makes this season extra exciting? Surrey’s own players are leading the charge. Forward Parkor Sarai sits atop the scoring chart with 16 points, while fellow Surrey stars Kirit Sran and Rayne Jameson follow closely with 13 and 12 points.
Their chemistry is electric. Every shift shows hustle, precision, and a little bit of that Surrey swagger.
Brick-Wall Defence and Stellar Goaltending
While the forwards light up the scoreboard, the Knights’ real strength might be their defence. They’ve built a wall around the net, anchored by Cloverdale-born goalie Koen St. Hilaire, who boasts a league-best .930 save percentage—a stat that speaks volumes. With 267 saves on 287 shots, he’s the kind of backbone every team dreams about.
Winning Week Keeps the Streak Alive
Last Thursday (Oct. 16), Surrey locked down a 3–1 victory over North Vancouver at the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex. Brendan Kwan, Wesley Rosley, and Enver Chan all found the back of the net.
The very next night in Abbotsford, the Knights edged out the Pilots 3–2 thanks to goals from Sarai, Sran, and Ryan Rackow. Two nights, two wins, zero signs of slowing down.
What’s Next for the Knights
The Knights are ready to defend their home ice again with back-to-back Thursday matchups—first against Mission on Oct. 23, then Abbotsford on Oct. 30. Both games start at 7 p.m. at the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex.
If this early surge is any indication, fans might want to grab their seats early—because Surrey’s hometown heroes are just getting warmed up.
