Man Hospitalised After Gunfire at Surrey’s Bear Creek Park

A man is recovering in hospital after being shot during a confrontation between two groups at Surrey’s Bear Creek Park around 9 p.m. Saturday. Surrey Police say the victim’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening. The suspect, described as a South Asian man with a short beard, black turban and dark clothing, fled in a grey sedan. The case is now under investigation by the Frontline Investigative Support Team. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them at 604-599-0502, citing file 2025-79990 (SP).

Two pedestrians were hospitalized, one in serious condition, after being struck by a car at a bus stop near King George Boulevard and 76 Avenue in Surrey on Saturday evening. The vehicle also collided with a hydro pole. The driver remained at the scene, and Surrey Police Service is investigating.
