PGA Tour Americas Fortinet Cup concludes in South Surrey

The PGA Tour Americas’ Fortinet Cup Championship concluded at Morgan Creek Golf Course in South Surrey, with Jay Card III claiming victory and Canadian Drew Nesbitt earning his place on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour.

The PGA Tour Americas’ Fortinet Cup Championship wrapped up at Morgan Creek Golf Course in South Surrey, where U.S. golfer Jay Card III captured his second victory of the season. The win pushed him to No. 2 in the final Fortinet Cup standings after the Sept. 25-28 tournament.

Michael Brennan, also from the U.S., finished tied for fourth and cemented his spot as the No. 1 player in the season-long race. Card, 31, entered the final day two strokes behind but fired an 8-under 62 to surge ahead, securing $40,500 of the $225,000 purse.

The win earned Card status on the Korn Ferry Tour for 2026 and an exemption into the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School. “To be 2 back going into Sunday and put up a 62 … that does so much for confidence,” Card said.

Canadian golfer Drew Nesbitt of Ontario also made headlines by finishing in ‘The 10’ and graduating to the Korn Ferry Tour. Nesbitt, with three top-five finishes this season, became the second Canadian to achieve the milestone and also earned an exemption into next year’s RBC Canadian Open.

For both players, the Surrey tournament marked a defining moment — with Card reflecting on the friendships and memories made on tour, and Nesbitt preparing for his first Korn Ferry season in 2026.
