Barnside Harvest Fest Set to Rock Delta This Weekend

Three-day Barnside Harvest Festival in Delta returns Sept. 12–14 with 3 stages, 10 must-see bands, and family-friendly vibes.

Music and Community Converge in Delta This Weekend

Delta’s Paterson Park will transform into a vibrant hub of music and community from Sept. 12–14 as the Barnside Harvest Festival marks its third year. The annual event, known for blending harvest-season charm with top-tier live performances, will feature three stages and a lineup of acclaimed Canadian and international acts.

A Showcase of Talent Across Three Days

This year’s festival boasts an eclectic mix of performers, from national headliners to local rising stars. Notable acts include Arkells, Walk Off The Earth, and The Dead South, alongside BC talents like Fionn and Brass Camel. Producer John Donnelly says the aim is to “bring the big show” while maintaining a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Headliners to Watch

Saturday’s spotlight falls on the Arkells, beloved for their anthemic rock that unites crowds in singalongs. Friday night features Ontario’s Walk Off The Earth, whose viral covers and originals have earned them a global following. Sunday closes with Saskatchewan’s The Dead South, delivering their high-energy, genre-blending folk-bluegrass.

Local Favourites with National Reach

Surrey-raised Daniel James leads Brass Camel, a prog-rock group praised for their technical skill. White Rock’s twin duo Fionn return with a bold, radio-ready single, while Coquitlam-born Tony Stevens joins Sunday’s country-themed bill. Donnelly highlights these performers as proof of BC’s growing influence in Canada’s music scene.

Why Barnside Stands Out

Beyond the music, Barnside is designed as an intergenerational gathering. From YouTube-famous kids’ collaborations with Walk Off The Earth to the dance-inducing rhythms of Bedouin Soundclash, the programming encourages families to share live music experiences. “We want moments where kids see their first rock show here,” Donnelly says.

How to Experience the Festival

Tickets and the full stage schedule are available at barnsideharvestfest.com. Organizers recommend arriving early to explore food vendors, artisan stalls, and the festival grounds at Paterson Park, located on Ladner Trunk Road just off Highway 17A. For a preview, music fans can stream the Barnside Harvest Fest 2025 playlist on Spotify.
