Heat Alert Issued for the Region
The Homelessness Services Association of B.C. issued a heat alert on Friday, Sept. 5, after humidex values made it feel like 29˚C or hotter in some areas. In White Rock, Environment Canada forecast highs of 23˚C with a humidex of 30˚C, plus a special air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke.
