Surrey Road Rage Shooting Leaves Three Wounded

Three men were injured in a suspected road rage shooting involving a white Tesla early Tuesday morning in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. near 84 Avenue and 140 Street, when the Tesla reportedly pulled alongside another vehicle and opened fire before fleeing. Four South Asian men were in the targeted vehicle, and three sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They drove to the Surrey Police Service’s District 3 office immediately after the attack, where they received medical assistance and were later transported to hospital. The SPS Serious Crime Unit is leading the investigation and believes the motive is linked to road rage. Police are seeking witnesses and any dashcam or CCTV footage from the area. The shooting has raised community concerns about growing road violence, although authorities believe it to be an isolated incident.

Health experts warn that summer habits like travel, stress, and poor sleep could weaken immunity and increase infection risk. While current vaccines remain effective, doctors urge Canadians to stay cautious and prioritize healthy routines during the warmer months.
