The café, located at 8496 120 Street, is now open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., closed on Tuesdays, according to an announcement from staff on social media.
Bullets Fired Overnight at Newton Café
The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, when Surrey Police and the Delta Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 8400 block of 120 Street, near the border of Surrey and North Delta. At least eight bullets struck the café’s windows, leaving multiple holes. Staff were inside at the time, but no one was injured, police confirmed.

In an Instagram post, the café’s staff thanked the community for its support, writing:
