A Summer Bash You Won’t Want to Miss!

Surrey, mark your calendars! The Fleetwood Block Party is back, and it’s bringing the heat — with music, mouthwatering food, and family-friendly fun. If you’re looking for a way to celebrate community spirit this summer, Saturday, July 19 is the date to circle.

From 3 p.m. until late, The Social Tavern is throwing open its parking lot for a lively, all-ages event that promises to be bigger, better, and bolder than ever before.

Show Off Local Talent

Kicking off the fun at 3:30 p.m. is Fleetwood’s Got Talent — and yes, it’s exactly as awesome as it sounds. Ten local performers will battle it out on stage for a $500 cash prize, bringing their best vocals, instruments, and creativity to wow the crowd.

The live entertainment doesn’t stop there. Solo artists and bands will keep the music flowing well into the evening. Then, when the stars come out, it’s time to head inside The Social Tavern for a late-night DJ set at 9:30 p.m. — spinning all your favorite throwback tracks.

Come Hungry, Leave Happy

What’s a party without great food? The Social Tavern’s own Chef Rodrigo Fereira will be serving up sizzling street eats to keep everyone fueled for the festivities. Plus, adults can sip and chill in the beer garden hosted by Granville Island Brewing.

Family Fun for Everyone

This isn’t just a party for grown-ups — it’s a full-blown family affair. Think yard games, playful entertainment, and friendly faces. Kids are welcome to join the fun until 9 p.m., so bring the whole crew.

A Celebration of Community

“We saw the love last year — Fleetwood came out in full force,” says Jon Campbell, owner of The Social Tavern. “This year, we’re taking it up a notch with more music, more food, and even more community pride.”

Thanks to the support of the Fleetwood Business Improvement Association, the Block Party isn’t just about fun — it’s a nod to the local businesses and creative energy that make Surrey such a vibrant place to live.

Where & When?

  • Date: Saturday, July 19
  • Time: 3 p.m. until late
  • Location: The Social Tavern parking lot, Fleetwood
  • Admission: Free

So grab your sunscreen, bring your friends, and get ready to dance, eat, and celebrate all things Fleetwood. This is summer, Surrey-style — and you’re invited!
